A few things worth knowing
Most Irish skateparks are council built, free, and open all hours. Very few are supervised, and almost none have lights, which shortens the season considerably.
Surface matters more here than in drier countries. Concrete drains and dries quickly. Wooden ramps outdoors go slick in the damp and stay slick for hours after the rain stops, so a park that looks fine can be unrideable. If you are driving any distance in winter, concrete is the safer bet.
Scooters and skateboards share nearly all of these spaces. A few parks have signs saying otherwise and they are not enforced. Take turns and it stays fine.
