This is a static site that sells nothing and asks you for nothing. There is no account to make, no form to fill in and no newsletter to join.
What we ask you for
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no comment box, no contact form and no chatbot. We never ask for your name, your address or your card details, because there is nothing here to buy.
The one way to reach us is the email address at the bottom of every page. If you write to us, we have your message and whatever address you sent it from, in an inbox, until we delete it. We do not add you to anything and we do not pass it on.
The calculators stay in your browser
The import charge calculator and the deck size finder run entirely on your own device. The price you type, the shipping cost, your height and shoe size: none of it is sent anywhere. The page cannot submit a form even if something tried, because the site's security headers block it. Close the tab and it is gone.
The little game on the front page keeps your best score in your own browser's storage, on your own machine. We never see it. Clearing your browser data clears it.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website and to improve it.
The skatepark map
The map on the skateparks page draws its background tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading those tiles means your browser talks to OpenStreetMap's servers directly, so they see your IP address and which bit of the map you are looking at. That is how any map on the web works. Their terms are on the OpenStreetMap Foundation site. No other page loads the map.
The host
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare logs the requests it serves: your IP address, the time, the page and your browser. That is what keeps the site up and fends off attacks. We do not use those logs for analytics and we do not build profiles from them.
What is not here
- No ads, no ad network, no AdSense.
- No affiliate links. Every link to a shop is a plain link and we earn nothing if you use it.
- No Facebook pixel, no tracking pixels of any kind.
- No YouTube, Twitter or Instagram embeds.
- No comments, no accounts, no logins.
- No Google Fonts and no CDN. The typefaces are served from this site, so nobody else gets a request for them.
If any of that changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it, or ask us to delete it. In practice we hold nothing that identifies you unless you have emailed us, in which case it is that email. Ask and it goes.
If you think we have got this wrong, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
