Where to buy in Ireland
There are not many, so here they all are. Shops you can walk into come first. Delivery costs are the shop's own published figures, and where a shop does not publish one, we say so, because that is worth knowing before you fill a basket.

The widest range in Munster and the only shop here carrying skateboards, stunt scooters and e-scooters under one roof. One real problem: they publish no delivery prices anywhere on the site, and their delivery page still carries text from the pandemic. You find out what postage costs at the checkout, which makes comparing them against anyone else awkward.

The closest thing Dublin has to a proper independent skate shop, and the only one on this list that will build a board for you and tell you what you are doing wrong. Worth knowing that most of what sits in their Completes section is actually undercarriage kits, so trucks, wheels, bearings and bolts with no deck. If you want a ready to ride board, check the listing says so before you buy.

Not a skate shop, and the listings often leave out the deck width and material entirely. What it has instead is practical: a shop in most towns, free click and collect in two hours, and returns you can walk in and hand over. For a first board for a young child that counts for a lot.

Where the cheapest full size boards are, mostly under house brands like Rocket and Donnay. The decks are often better than the price suggests and the trucks are usually the weak point. No free delivery threshold, so €6.99 on a €22 board is a third of the price again.

Skate, BMX and scooter specialist, long established and well regarded. Their site blocked us when we tried to check prices, so nothing from here appears on our product pages. Worth a look yourself.

Inner City Scooters
Online
Large e-scooter range, most of which cannot legally be ridden on an Irish public road. Machines here run from 600W to 3200W against a 400W legal ceiling. Useful if you have private land, a problem if you assume anything on sale is road legal.

One of the few Irish sellers publishing clear compliance information against the Irish rules, and their own Lite and Motion Pro models genuinely meet the limits. They also sell machines that do not, so read the specification rather than the category. Their own prices are lower than the same models sold through general retailers.

The official Micro distributor here, and the place to buy a Mini or Maxi Micro rather than a lookalike. They also carry Chilli Pro stunt scooters, which is a more serious range than the kids scooters suggest.

A Danish shop with an Irish front, so an EU sale with no customs charges and no border. Range is far wider than anything in Ireland. Their site would not respond to us on the day we checked the others, so we have not listed prices from them.

One that seems to have gone
GoSk8 was a Dublin shop with a large scooter and skate range and it turns up in plenty of older search results. When we checked in August 2026 its skateboard pages returned a server error and the main domain served a bare holding message. We have left it off the list above rather than send anyone to it. If it comes back, tell us and it goes back on.
